Waking Life

Sat Jan 6, 2007, 3:39 PM
"I don't want to be an ant, y'know? I mean, we go through life with our antennas bouncing off one another, continuously on ant autopilot with nothing really human required of us.
Stop.
Go.
Walk here.
Drive there.
All action basically for survival. All communication simply to keep this ant colony buzzing along in an efficient, polite manner.
Heres your change.
Paper or plastic?
Credit or debit?
Want ketchup with that?
I don't want a straw. I want real human moments. I want to see you and I want you to see me. I don't want to give that up. I don't want to be an ant, y'know?"

"13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gains understanding,

14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.

15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.

16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.

17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.

18 She is a tree of life to those who embrace her;
those who lay hold of her will be blessed."

The Birds are hitting the wind. Their wings are writing the story. Pressed against, and piercing through.
What shall we say?
We could not stop them.

I Heart Huckabee's is also one of my favorite movies. Also Life Aquatic.

Anyway....

Never Forget that Dinosaurs were Real, because dinosaurs help us understand reality today.

Have you have of Rob Bell or Donald Miller? (authors)

I don't think I've seen either of those movies, or heard of either of those authors...

About dinosaurs... isn't it better to focus on what is to come rather than what has been? It seems like dinosaurs only confuse reality today. Heard about the arguments over Evolution and ID?
